Meet Our Founder – Dr. Prasad Jayavant Khot
Dr. Prasad Jayavant Khot is the Founder of DantKosh and a dedicated dental professional with over 17 years of clinical experience in dentistry. Based in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, he has been committed to delivering quality dental care while helping patients better understand the importance of oral health through education and awareness.
Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Khot has combined evidence-based dental practice with a patient-first approach, believing that informed patients make better decisions about their oral health. His passion for preventive dentistry and accessible dental knowledge inspired him to create DantKosh—a comprehensive platform designed to simplify complex dental concepts and provide reliable oral healthcare information for everyone.
As a practicing dentist at Dr. Khot Dental Clinic in Ratnagiri, Dr. Khot continues to serve patients with a focus on compassionate care, clinical excellence, and long-term oral wellness. Journey & Milestones
2009
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Tatyasaheb Kore Dental College in 2009 and went on to earn his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Sangli, in 2018, further strengthening his expertise in advanced orthodontic treatment and comprehensive dental care.
2010
His professional journey began with the establishment of DR. KHOT DENTAL CLINIC in Ratnagiri on 2 March 2010. To make quality dental care more accessible, he expanded his practice by opening a second clinic in Pali in 2011. Today, he continues to provide evidence-based treatment with a strong emphasis on compassion, precision, and long-term oral health.
2021
Recognising the growing demand for advanced dental diagnostics, Dr. Khot established RATNAGIRI CBCT CENTRE in 2021, followed by KOKAN CBCT CENTRE in Kankavli in 2024. These centres are equipped with advanced Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanners, offering precise 3D imaging for dental implant planning, wisdom teeth evaluation, TMJ analysis, and other specialized dental assessments.
2022
He expanded the services of modern dentistry, Dr. Khot founded DANTKOSH with a clear vision—to build a trusted platform that bridges the gap between dental professionals and the latest advancements in dental materials and technology. Today, DANTKOSH is dedicated to empowering clinicians with premium products, professional guidance, and reliable services, while also helping dental patients and the public make informed decisions and improve oral health literacy.
2024
Inspired by the evolving needs of modern dentistry, Dr. Khot founded DANTKOSH to bridge the gap between dental professionals and trusted dental products. Today, DANTKOSH empowers clinicians with premium products, expert guidance, and reliable service to support better patient care.
